Face ID stopped working. iPhone XS is up to date. Face ID stopped working on my iPhone XS today out of the blue. Phone is up to date. Tried resetting Face ID but it won’t recognize my face when it says to place my face in the box. Won’t progress to next step of turning my head.

Swapped screens back and True Tone option reappeared. From what I can tell online there are some vendors who have the tools (like Apple) to copy over the screen data from the old OEM to the new OEM screen, and it returns the True Tone option. This appears to only work on OEM replacements.
