Rightnow Odyssey sits at the top of the tier for me, whereas Valhalla is near the bottom. I absolutely love Odyssey, and yes, I know it has many flaws, but for me, the positives far outweigh the negatives. I have gone back and replayed through Odyssey at least 5 times now. Valhalla, just once.
InOdyssey different sets have different core strengths. From the Pilgrim Set to the Demigod Set to the many others, they do a nice job facilitating the "Tank v Assassin" styles I tend to alternate between. The variety and engraving system is well done. In Valhalla, I bought the Valkyrie set on day 1 and used it all the way through the game.
Dynamicrange when talking about audio, is the range in volume from the quietest footsteps to the loudest explosions. You generally only want full for surround sound setup or quality headphones. Italso sucks when you compare it to the relatively user-friendly transmog system of Odyssey and the Outfit system of Origins. Thing is that once you've beaten most of the story and raids in Valhalla, sure, 250 silver isn't a lot but it isn't a little either when you wanna change up your look.
Honestly I find them to be the best ā€œside questsā€ from any assassins creed game or really any open world game. Where In odyssey it was always dialogue, kill target, carry body, dialogue, repeat, Valhallaā€™s side content actually varies greatly in the simple interactions required of the player keeping them fresh. bl0Xw.
