TheZenfone 9's cameras are good. I would say the S22's cameras a little better but not leaps and bounds since you're not in top tier budget level. Also the same with display, you'll be fine with the Zenfone 9's display. Obviously Samsung's displays are the best but its not bad. The biggest difference I would say is the promised software Hi I recently bought Asus Zenfone 8, and, no surprise, I am very dissatisfied with the battery drain (6% per hour in idle in flight mode!). I've seen reports that Android 12 Beta fixes this. However I also understand there's a chance of making the device unusable (the memdump issue or instability after upgrade). Worthit nore for the storage than the memory. For my use, 16GB of RAM is not worth it over 8GB. However, my last 256GB phone was getting full (I have thousands of lossless or higher quality music files that take up quite a bit of space). In addition to a bunch of 50MP Photo's [from my Samsung] and 4k Videos. The820 has 4 "big" custom cores. These cores are fast and powerful but not as battery efficient. The 625 has 8 standard issue(non custom) A53 "little" cores. These little cores are weaker but offer better efficiency and with 8 of them still decent overall performance. So 12MP, ƒ/1.8, OIS and 8MP, ƒ/2.0 rear + 8MP front is where ASUS made compromise. For comparison, OP6 also has triple camera of 20MP f/1.7 and 16MP f/1.7 OIS/EIS on the rear and 16MP f/2.0 on the front. The drastic difference in camera module alone is enough offsets the price difference here. Still, I like it. TheUS Version has the following capabilities, but I don't know enough about TMobiles network to know if I will be missing anything. Theysaid it was a faulty motherboard. My phone wasnt even 2 years old. It was well taken care of and it had never overheated. Warranty coverage was only 1 year, sadly. This has also been an issue in other zenfone 8 owners. Im not going back to ASUS anymore. I'm very disappointed that their flagship phone for 2021 couldnt even last 3-4 years.
